Easy to Use: Soap Making

The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is that all molds had minor damage inside when I received them (light scratches/weird 'stains'). I still have a set of the exact same molds I bought from another vendor a while ago that I used to make about 100 bars of soap. A few molds have a few slits with similar scratches but not as many as the new ones and the scratches on the old ones were made by me (1 - used the wrong sponge to clean the mold and 2 accidentally scratched the mold when trying to swirling the colors with a toothpick). Since the scratches and marks on the new molds are so similar, I'm wondering if they've been used before or something like that. I use them to make soap for my shop and they work exactly as they are supposed to. When you use CP soap, scratches and stains don't matter. However, if you use MP soap base and use a different type of soap than glycerin, scratches and stains won't matter at all. They are very visible, scratches make the soap look sloppy and stains make the soap look dirty. For those of you who have never made soap before, the portion of your soap that is exposed in the mold is technically the bottom, and the portion of the soap that touches the bottom of the mold is technically the top of your soap. So when you take the MP soap out of the mold and turn it over, the part that touches the bottom of the mold is usually very shiny and smooth, but unfortunately, with these molds, the soap comes out with scratches and stains, and for those who Buy soap, look very unprofessional and tasteless.

Pros
  • Easy to Remove: The flexibility and non-stick surface of the soap mold makes it very easy to remove soap or dessert. The silicone material is soft and durable, so the molds are a little soft. If you need stronger support when carrying or moving, you can put it on a tray.
Cons
  • fragile
