Review on πŸ¦† Platypus Gravity-Fed Hose Kits by Brian Rivenbark

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It did the job of making my own gravity filter - BONUS - note you also get more than pictured!

If you already have some of the components needed to make a Gravity Filter and don't want to spend $120 on a retail/full version of Platypus Gravity Works, then this hose set might do this Be one of the articles for you! I already had a "Dirty" 2 liter tank (which you can get at the store for less than $20), I also already had a couple of Platypus 2 liter bottles ($9.99 for it) and I already had two Platypus-Hoser cylinders in sizes 2L and 3L. Note. For "pure" water I use 2 liter and 3 liter containers. With this hose set I was able to assemble a gravity filter with the same quality and functionality that Platypus sells for over $100. So what bonus am I talking about in the title? What you don't see in the picture, at least at the time I bought mine, is that you are getting the ends of the connector to connect to a Platypus Big Zip bladder AND the end of the connector to connect to a Platypus hoser and hoser a Platypus 2L bottle! The picture shows a fitting that can be connected to a 2 or 4 liter "dirty" tank, but does NOT show the clean end fittings, namely the two I mentioned that go on Big Zip, Hoser and platypus flasks, platypus. water tank etc. This is a good kit with a lot of parts for the money! I would recommend it to anyone building a homemade gravity filter system. Thank you for reading.
