3 stars because it is not what it is.

3 stars because it doesn't match the picture but I think you can just cut the hose off. The hose is ready. I'll give it a try and see if I can get by with my mini saw and water container.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • No Instructions

The image on Revain and the image on the product.

The image on Revain and the image on the product I received match. However, the item I received is not what is pictured or listed in the description. I have a hose with a quick connect connector on one end and a bladder or bottle connector on the other. I can get it working if I cut it in two and remove the bladder port (which reduces my desired length), but how hard is it to pack the right item? Would come back if I didn't need it so soon.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • Quality

Bought this to get a good platypus hose (not sold separately that I could find) and a gray one Quick connector that I was able to connect a replaceable 2 liter bladder. Would buy a 4 liter bladder but Platypus doesn't sell one separately. I really wish Platypus would sell more parts individually for those of us making our own adjustments (I use the Sawyer filter which I think is way better than the GravityWorks filter but other than that all parts of my hydration system are Platypus) . It…

Required to install Platypus or Sawyer

"Thickness" and "Flavour" have nothing to do with the quality of this product or are evaluation items. Clip-on fittings work well as they should. I used this for both the Platypus bubble and the Sawyer bag. I can compress any delivery as much as I want. Nothing is leaking. Assembled parts are somewhat problematic to pack after use. The edges catch on "things" when the piece is removed from where it was stuffed. The mesh pocket doesn't make it any better. This is part of what I would expect from

  • Great for me

  • Appearance

If you already have some of the components needed to make a Gravity Filter and don't want to spend $120 on a retail/full version of Platypus Gravity Works, then this hose set might do this Be one of the articles for you! I already had a "Dirty" 2 liter tank (which you can get at the store for less than $20), I also already had a couple of Platypus 2 liter bottles ($9.99 for it) and I already had two Platypus-Hoser cylinders in sizes 2L and 3L. Note. For "pure" water I use 2 liter and 3 liter…
