🦆 Platypus Gravity-Fed Hose Kits Review

3 stars because it doesn't match the picture but I think you can just cut the hose off. The hose is ready. I'll give it a try and see if I can get by with my mini saw and water container.

The image on Revain and the image on the product I received match. However, the item I received is not what is pictured or listed in the description. I have a hose with a quick connect connector on one end and a bladder or bottle connector on the other. I can get it working if I cut it in two and remove the bladder port (which reduces my desired length), but how hard is it to pack the right item? Would come back if I didn't need it so soon.

Bought this to get a good platypus hose (not sold separately that I could find) and a gray one Quick connector that I was able to connect a replaceable 2 liter bladder. Would buy a 4 liter bladder but Platypus doesn't sell one separately. "Thickness" and "Flavour" have nothing to do with the quality of this product or are evaluation items. Clip-on fittings work well as they should. I used this for both the Platypus bubble and the Sawyer bag. I can compress any delivery as much as I want. Nothing is leaking. Assembled parts are somewhat problematic to pack after use.
