HEATED BED ACTIVATED!

Works well with my special 600 x 600 800W HEATED FIBERGLASS URETHANE BED! (Low wattage to avoid major warping, it just takes MUCH longer to get to 120, but it's worth the wait (with 3.175 GLASS ON TOP .090 6061-T6 ALUMINUM BIG 51MM METAL CLIPS) AND CUSTOM ABS ACCETONE SMOOTHED GRIPS : ). First, the FUSE blew every time I activated the HEATED BED. Thought it was SSR but after reading it found out someone else had the same problem - they used the AUTOSAVE and it solved their problem. I used a 5x20 3A fuse in my PSU, it couldn't handle the load. After asking the electrician about my 800 watt load I replaced the fuse with a 5x20 12Amp VIOLA! NOW it's getting nice and hot and the SSR doesn't heat up at all (there's a 40mm fan installed which isn't needed - hm maybe it gets warm after a 3 day print job?). I am posting a simple diagram to help you - how I installed and used my SSR + HEATER BED. (SWITCH -W- FUSE is used, not shown in diagram, it connects to the same power lines on the power supply as the BED and SSR). DISCLAIMER: I take no responsibility for the use and installation of your SSR. I'm just posting the schematic as I set it up. YOU accept full responsibility in the knowledge that 120 volts can cause serious injury or death. BE CAREFUL! If necessary, hire an electrician for the installation.
