This year I wanted to be a Prepared Mom. My younger kids will no longer show up crying because they have snow in their pants, or I won't have to dress my 5 year old in 6 layers of clothing that may or may not be plastic wrapped around impermeable clothing. We don't get a ton of snow in Texas, but when we do the kids want to be in until we get them to come in and thaw. Unfortunately, the winters are getting warmer and warmer every year, and the fond memories of drying my kids' wet clothes all day so they can run around seem to be a thing of the past. Maybe next winter it will fit my little one and we can make more of it. In that case, we're all set, because this thing is as comfortable as it is charming. On the other hand we used the jacket quite a bit and it fitted very well and wasn't too bulky or too thin for our sometimes windy winters. .
