3 in a row scrap. At least 5 channels. First, the protection worked every time I turned on the subwoofer. was just an 8 inch pioneer. The 2nd sub works fine but continues to crackle through channels 1 and 3. So the 3rd change is the same. So I put my old Alpine back in and the sound is clean. Plus bad background noise even with the RCA off
