I bought my friend's mother a gift for her new granddaughter who will give birth in July. My first question related to the packaging situation. When it arrived it was in a purple velvet pouch inside a plastic bag. The bracelet itself was also in a plastic case. This is perfect for just putting the bracelet and pouch in the mini gift bag to become a storage place for them. Besides the excellent packaging, the bracelet itself is amazing! It looks the same as in the photos. Super shiny and light but feels strong. The main pendant is small and looks great alone or with other pendants added. I've added two more charms to give it a more personal touch, but it's beautiful on its own too. Shipping was fast and arrived on time so all in all it's really amazing and I'm so happy with how great it is at such a good price. As for tarnishing, I don't know because I won't be wearing it, but it doesn't seem to be the case and if it bothers you you can always apply a thin coat of clear nail polish.
