Edited on 03/21/2020Good. You have redeemed yourself. They pay attention to reviews and I was able to contact them and they are going ahead with it. Heard about Carl and he's their customer service rep. To solve the battery problem, he sent me a new battery for free when they were back in stock. So they get another star for good customer service. Edited on January 14, 2020 I downgraded DSER from 5 stars to 3 because DSER Life did not receive a response. I still really like the vacuum cleaner, but in the description on AMAZON the manufacturer says that you can buy replacement batteries. But if you go to their website, you can't order replacement batteries. I emailed them through their contact form, they don't have a phone number. Batteries fail long before vacuum in my experience and it's a waste of time. My email request to purchase additional batteries was ignored. 01/05/2020 - They appear to be replying to messages on their Facebook page. Asked them if they could get batteries through facebook messenger and they replied in about an hour. The answer was that they don't have them in stock but they are expected soon. They also said the original battery should last "about 6 months". SIX MONTHS! Well that's a totally scary thought and I hope it's not true. They said to subscribe to an email newsletter to know when the batteries are available. Stay with us. I've found that all those whistles and calls from the more expensive robotic robots either don't work very well or just aren't worth the money. I've used the 20t a few times and it rarely gets stuck anywhere - again unlike my $700 job which seems to have all sorts of problems - so far my 20T has been back on every time it's done two rooms the charging station. with a number of obstacles. I especially like the remote control feature that allows you to control the perimeter of the room. Not used all remote access features yet (schedule). Will update when I've tried all the features. Out of the box battery life is excellent, but I don't rate batteries until I know what the test of time will be. My $700 LG robot battery has dwindled to 15-20 minutes in just two years. The anti-break feature works very well. I have a pillow in my kitchen that is just over an inch thick. It has sloping sides and the 20T climbs great but then the poor thing is afraid to go down! He keeps looking for a way to get off the mat but he can't. No big deal, I just have to take off the carpet when I run it in the kitchen. So I don't think it's worth worrying about the 20T coming down the stairs. Again for comparison, my expensive LG went down the basement stairs twice. To his credit, he survived the fall, but he shouldn't have done it in the first place. The magnetic "lockout" strips work fairly well, but when unsecured the 20T tends to push them out of the way. Except in special cases where you don't install (glue) them permanently for aesthetic reasons, I find it best to just put a physical barrier like a trash can or something in the way. However, this can become an issue if you're doing routine cleanings, which I haven't tested and evaluated. Overall I'm very happy with the 20T to the point that I bought another one so I have it now. each of my two floors. Lg robovac was moved to the break room in the basement where he can't come down the stairs, the room is simple in configuration and I don't care how many times he has to go and charge to complete the cleaning.
