I want shorts that still look casual but are smarter than denim shorts. I love them because they are neither too short nor too long and the flirty edge makes them fun! Now I was a size 14 in jeans and dress pants. I was an L in yoga pants. The first pair I bought I bought in XL. They were very comfortable but also big enough! The next pair I bought were medium sized. They fit and I wear them, but they are definitely tighter, so if I still wanted something looser I would go for the L. Hope that helps!
