Review on e.l.f. Lip Lacquer: Moisturizing, Shiny, Non-Sticky, Long Lasting Color, Glides On Smoothly, 0.08 Fl Oz by Susan Johnson

When I first bought this gloss many years ago it was the best lip gloss I had. I bought 3 at once and it was the only one I've ever used. Either the quality has gone down or I've found better quality from other brands, but still I won't be buying again after that. It's not bad, but I just don't find it as incomparable as I used to. Maybe it's the same and my tastes have changed but now I had to apply 4 coats to feel like my lips were a little hydrated. What I still love about it is that it's not super sticky and doesn't look shiny, it has a subtle shine and holds just enough shine to not look unnatural. I would use it when wearing a dry color foundation and just wanted it to look natural, but other than that it just doesn't moisturize me. I think that's what's missing in this area. I love ELF, it's my favorite makeup brand! But that's not for me in terms of moisture. I feel like I need to redo it A LOT. No matter what, give it a try and you might have a good first experience like mine. Don't let my opinion confuse you. I have big lips and have been practicing different lip routines lately, so maybe my body has changed.
