My mother bought a couple of these as gifts for stockings. She felt them to be a good multifunctional tool that could be carried on a keychain, in the car, at work, or even in a pocket. First, it's too heavy to carry on a keychain. But I installed them in cars, and in fact I soon needed a Phillips screwdriver. I grabbed my handy dandy multi-tool. That does not work. I started trying other parts of the instrument. They didn't work either. Good idea as long as it works.
