Doesn't work on my

Not working on my HP Officejet 6958 I installed this compatible cartridge the same way as an OEM product but I kept getting an error saying I need to install it correctly. I suspect that the printer does not recognize this compatible cartridge. I even tried a factory reset but it still didn't help. I ended up buying an HP OEM cartridge for my printer. I think I'll stick with the OEM cartridge for now unless I find another compatible one that works.
