I wasn't expecting much from a set of 12 lipsticks, especially from a youthful one like "mood lipstick". But I remembered the mood lipstick from my childhood, the reviews seemed good enough, and I was looking for a permanent lip stain that wouldn't rub off my baby if she touched my face or put her fingers in my mouth. That's it! I was very pleasantly surprised. This is really a great product. I apply it once in the morning and it lasts all day, most days. I may have to reapply once a week in the evening or night just to touch up. It outlasts meals and looks untouched, never detaching from cutlery, glasses or straws. Does not smudge, smudge, rub off skin, clothing etc. but rinses off very well. This is a great alternative if you're looking for a lip stain that doesn't transfer after application. Please note that the colors will differ slightly when applied. Lighter colors are more vibrant/bright pink and darker colors are slightly darker than pink. One coat is enough, just give it a minute to change color. If you add a second layer when applying, the color will be even more vibrant. I think one layer is enough for my taste. There is always the perfect shade of pink for my skin tone. I usually pay a lot more for lipsticks/glosses than this one but I'm impressed as it serves my purpose beautifully. Don't let the cheap price and packaging fool you, this is still a great adult product!
