I have an iPad Air (with Apple Pencil 2) and an iPad Mini (with Pencil 1) and they work great but cost $100. Every once in a while I lose my pencil for a few days. This is a great throwback. One difference: With the PDF program and the Apple Pencil, it knows that the pencil is for "writing” and the finger is for "moving pages”. This separation of functions does not exist with a stylus. When I opened the box, a few of them jumped out and rolled or disappeared on the floor, so be careful. They probably fell off the shell during transport and looked like jumping beans. This is new so I don't know how long the tips will last but I think with daily use they will last quite a while.
