Jumbo measures 47.2 by 23.6, which is approximately 7.7 square meters. ft., which is just above the Humane Society (et al.) minimum recommendation for 1-2 guinea pigs. However, this is a measure of the outer edge, not the floor area. The footprint is approximately 43 by 19.5, which is approximately 5.8 square feet as it tapers. The second level does not count towards the floor area and the ramp even counts towards the floor area. Thus, even Jumbo, no matter how big, does not meet the minimum standard for 1 pig. You can have activity periods up to hourly. Well, like I said, I bought it anyway. My pigs are 4 months old and I have time to consider other options like C&C or similar. For the money, the size and quality is better than what you'll find at a pet store, and it's a better habitat than most. If you want to buy it, just take the jumbo. The other two are too small even for a pig. (It usually takes more than 2 piglets to thrive anyway.) I have a homemade fleece liner and a bowl of Carefresh paper liners. I love the included water bottle. The ball is much quieter than my old one. The hay holder leaves a lot to be desired, but the real value is the cage. The sides at the bottom are high, 8 inches, so I doubt the pigs would knock the litter over if I used it. But they're too big for a pig to reach hay or a water bottle without a second level. So don't expect to be able to use them without a second tier unless you have a hay holder and water bottle lying on the floor or hanging from the ceiling. In general I am satisfied. I found an awesome white 4x2 Lifetime folding/latching table for $35 that has 3 different height positions. This is the perfect place to preserve this habitat. I haven't had the same issues as others with deformed wires or broken plastic. If I did, I'm sure Revane would trade it in. So I would recommend this - just jumbo - for 1-2 guinea pigs. It was a pain cleaning the back corner under the second tier. I almost had to climb off my chest. And I have long arms. I hope not to do it again.
