I bought this product (I don't want to call it a hub because that's not how I use it) so my daughter can use the big screen TV and her grandparents' house during the playing time on the switch. I don't like her holding the Switch that close, so I found this device so she can use the TV without having to buy another dock. When she goes to her grandparents' house, she takes this device, an HDMI cable, and a USB-A to USB-C cable (which she can conveniently slip in her pocket) with her. It connects the cables to the TV, then to the hub, and then the device's USB-C cable to the switch. She uses the Switch the same way she uses the dock at home! This device works great and without delay!
