I was very excited when this arrived, having been handcrafting my own PirateShip labels for over 2 years. I couldn't imagine spending hundreds of dollars on a thermal printer, so I just got over it. I stumbled upon this gem by accident while browsing aimlessly through Revain's offerings and taking a chance. The first 24 hours were disappointing. I couldn't download the printer driver software file and kept getting the message 'Load Failed'. I finally gave up and emailed the support email address listed on the kcomer.com website. You absolutely helped me figure it out! I've posted screenshots of what's going on and after a bit of troubleshooting on both sides I finally got it working! The test page is great and I printed a test label and made sure it scanned correctly without hesitation! I'm so excited about this printer now that I downloaded the driver software! Many thanks to technical support for the continuous support! FYI if you have the same problem as me where the driver software won't load or gives you a loading error, I successfully loaded another printer driver; Unfortunately my CX418 printer does not work with another driver. Customer service through the printer's website emailed me with a zip file attached via WeTransfer which downloaded. The driver file still didn't run because it found corruption in the file. I disabled my firewall/antivirus for a moment to allow and trust the file and software. After installing the driver I re-enabled the firewall/antivirus and had no problems. Sometimes perfectly healthy files warn antivirus software for no reason, but I had no intention of testing this theory without speaking to support, who confirmed the problem.
