Ideal for running very long Ethernet cables along a base plate. Following the instructions I attached the adhesive backing and left it on for a couple of days. I snapped the cord and then taped it to the baseboard. By matching the white clip to the white baseboard and white cable, it is hardly noticeable. Nothing turned up. Very happy with this product. Extra Goodies: You may need/use more clamps than you think. I ended up getting a second box to make it more secure. It's easy to find a use for additional devices. These terminals will NOT fit standard coaxial cable (sometimes referred to as RG6 cable) for cable outlets and cable modems. Phone and laptop charging cables, Ethernet cables, and standard HDMI cables are fine.
