A great replacement for the missing Line-In in the new MacBook Pro!

My new MacBook cannot convert the headphone jack to line/mic like my old MacBook. (Thank you Apple for once again taking something so elegant and simple, eliminating it and creating a problem.) I love using my MacBook to convert all my old vinyl to mp3 for my iPhone and iPod . I've asked around and no one had an easy, inexpensive solution. All of the offers involved paying hundreds of dollars for items that far exceeded my needs. Then I found this article and it works great. Of course, I also had to buy a small USB-to-USB-C adapter, but that was a minor thing. ATTENTION TO NEW MACBOOK OWNERS!
