I like this wire design because it feels a bit less cubicle desk and a bit more MCM. Super easy to install if you have a wood desk top, screws right in with the six screws. Low profile with large openings. Lots of different ways you can use this thing.I use it to store some of my devices that I don’t use super often, but still need for work from home. Things like dongles, my Android testing phone, my iPad Pro. So just be aware that if you need a flat bottom to store small things, this isn’t the right shelf for you.The only real annoyance is that it doesn’t have bearings, which I knew. It’s not super smooth pulling it in and out, but I added a bit of silicone lubricating grease to the rails, and that’s made the it much smoother to pull in and out and has at least some lube between the metal on metal contact. There are little stoppers you can install so that you don’t accidentally pull the shelf all the way out.Overall I’m pretty happy with it.
