I needed something to protect the inside of our bedroom window so our son wouldn't accidentally bump into the window and break it. It's super easy to set up and easy to remove too (you'll need a drill and a screwdriver). The reason for the lack of a star is that I wanted the screen to have a feature that allows you to pull it super tight. There is no way to really customize the feed as there is a place to place the posts. I tried putting some clips on the sides to stretch it but they popped out after about a week. If you don't have this type of window closure that would probably be great but for me the window is a little tight and the mesh can currently compress well over an inch - but good product!
