Review on Monoprice 110465 Certified Ceiling Panels by Daniel Evans

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Functional but too weak. I'll write

The holder is functional, but not very well thought out. I checked the specs on the Monoprice website before purchasing it and with the 55 pound load capacity it shouldn't have had any issues for my intended use case. My TV weighs 22 pounds without legs, size 50 inches. The Monoprice mount design is lightweight. - at best - debt. The top bracket that connects to the ceiling has a nice beefy 5" round plate, but the actual pole that the TV connects to is spot welded to that plate with just 4 1/8" welds. If you're going to use it in an environment where it can be constantly adjusted, I would look elsewhere. The overall design of the mount on the pole is also VERY loose on the ceiling tile. I ended up wrapping the mount pole with aluminum tape to make the pole tighter sticks to plate The whole TV is quite wobbly, even though the nuts and bolts are very tight.
