If you've been looking for something to connect your MacBook Air to an old style LED movie screen, this is the product just right for you! I bought 4 different keys and none of the keys I bought worked. Apparently, the USB-C chipset can't properly convert videos through the Mini DisplayPort. With all the dongles I've bought I haven't been able to get the maximum resolution of 1200x700. I've been using the workaround for a few days and am using the HDMI port for the mini display, but even with this fix, the LED Cinema Display wouldn't wake up when I wake up my MacBook Air (I like using both monitors together). In any case, everything works great! I even bought a Magsafe to USB-C adapter to get all the utilities out of the monitor. So thankful I finally got what I needed!
