Review on Quick Dam Flood Barrier Pack by Matthew Nunez

Only for shallow water! I was very disappointed with this product. Flood water rose outside my patio door and I was hoping to stack them to keep the water from flowing. The first one worked fine, then I tried to put the second one on top. It didn't balance well but I had to block the slowly rising water. I added a third one which fell off and swam away as did the first two as the water rose. I understand the water was too high for the product but I was disappointed that when folded they didn't stay in place even before the water got closer to 4-5 inches. I've also tried them inside to build a dam around my stove if water gets in. They don't seal well against each other, especially if they don't run in a perfectly straight line. Maybe I just expected too much from this product. For a small amount of shallow water less than 3 inches deep, they're fine. Get the exact length or more and expect nothing but a straight line. Even folded into a pyramid, they floated away.
