I got this because I have a 51cm road frame so a sideload cage on the seat tube is easier to use. The cage is rigid unlike some carbon cages which seem too flexible to hold the bottle properly. If you have a bare, high-gloss 3K carbon fiber frame, the cage will fit perfectly. Side entry is very easy and holds the bottle well. Also, using mounting slots instead of holes gives you more mounting options. A NOTICE. These cages are available with left or right entry. This LEFT/RIGHT designation refers to which hand you would hold the bottle with if it were mounted on the down tube. However, if you want to mount the cage to the seat tube, buy the cage on the opposite side. In other words, if you want to grab the bottle with your LEFT hand while the cage is mounted on the seat tube, grab the RIGHT cage and vice versa. Conversely, if you plan to buy a pair and use one at each location, make sure you buy both types.
