I bought this for my aging bunny pug mix, Miley. She has a metal box next to my husband's bed. It has lots of comfortable pillows, sheets and bedspreads that she usually sleeps in, but sometimes she wanders around at night to sleep on the floor next to my side of the bed. She started doing it a lot, so I started laying out towels and bathmats so she could sleep when she did; .but it's near the outer wall and it's very drafty here! There is not enough space for another box either. So I figured this little plush "dog house" would be PERFECT for her in this location. And that. It fits well; she likes it; sometimes she sleeps in it all night; and when i'm not using it (during the day) i just take it and stow it on top of her regular drawer (so our big dogs don't bother - they carried it like a toy the first time around. i put it on for Miley! lol. ) The only thing I would add is that I still left the bathmat and towel under the house because the pillow that came with it isn't thick enough for Miley's aging body, so I think she still needs some extra padding underneath needs, but in the house they warm and cozy. And we love it.
