Stops working after a few prints.

Printed a few pages and all of sudden my printer flashed 16 times an Error message that I've run out of ink. My fingers are literally covered in ink trying to get the Cannon printer to accept the cartridge. This is the first time my printer has failed to print or recognize the cartridge. It usually prints very little or no ink, it never gives me this cartridge error message. I have to assume this is a bootleg and not a legitimate Cannon product. Fail!
