My '99 Tahoe uses a small black rubber bushing in this kit. Removing what was left of the old bushing was easy with the thin flat head. That little very flexible sleeve is flapping down there. It's easy to install, but when installing the cable you have to be careful that it doesn't push this sleeve out. Even with the right fit, removal is nearly effortless. At $30, that's a huge waist of money. You can get a new ACDelco cable for less than $60. I'm going to get a new cable as I don't trust this case at all. A zip tie or tape will hold it more securely and won't cost $30. Spend a little more and just buy a new OEM cable. They are easy enough to install.
