There's a lot to like. It's plastic, but nice enough plastic and feels solid. It would be great if the head could turn from side to side and if manufacturers didn't feel the need to warn customers not to over adjust the lamp to make it stop holding its position. Finally, about the cons: the USB connector, when used with a device with high power consumption, causes the lamp to flicker. I am not aware of any damage to the charger. It charges my modern phone as fast as any non-fast charger. Just turn off the lamp when charging. My tablet doesn't seem to have this issue, but slow charging doesn't keep the tablet running. I don't know if this is affecting the power supply to my device or the lamp. So I don't use the USB port. But as mentioned above, the lamp seems reliable - it is very bright for its power and works perfectly. Competing lamps I found didn't provide CRI information. So.light certainly looks amazing and I have no reason to doubt that CRI is better as the listing states.
