I think some people maybe sent broken kites because of the bad reviews. I picked her up easily while heavily drunk. Both have repeatedly flown well in winds >6mph. This is nylon, gently bend the sticks and try to land as if there were passengers on board. Use super glue or preferably a small stitch to glue any "rod holder slots" that aren't sewn together well.
