Bought and installed about a year ago. This week I had to remove them from the ceiling of my van to run the cables through. These LED lights burned so badly that they shattered the plastic case they were in and burned the plastic panel behind the case. All my other LED lights don't. I have installed LED bulbs in all the plastic light housings scattered around the RV and there is no burning in these housings. My blanket is made of soft material that is designed to absorb sound. They were so hot when I opened them I feel like without the backing I put behind them it could have started a fire.
