If the keyboard is on a chipboard table (most likely, you have such a table), then the sound of the keys will be annoying, your colleagues and roommates will hate you. The sound is high-frequency, clattering. When you just run your hand over the keys, there is also an uncomfortable sound. The sound isn't as loud as the Apple Wireless Keyboard, but it's annoying nonetheless. It becomes much more pleasant to type when you put on headphones or lay the keyboard on a towel. When typing, the fingers are hard, but this is not significant, and in general it does not interfere.
