We ordered for a trip with a tent at the last moment when at night we saw that the temperature had dropped to 30 degrees. Size 18-36m fits a 12m old baby with room to grow (his arms and legs are tucked in) and size 2-4t fits my 21m old baby with plenty of room to grow. Everyone wore pajamas underneath and a baby blanket and they slept like champions and were warm all night! So if you are camping and looking for a reliable option for a child, this is a good choice. Don't be afraid to increase the size for longer use. It is so soft and pleasant to the touch that it fluffs up nicely after a wash. It's a lot better than trying to get the little one to stay in a proper sleeping bag like we tried with my big one. You can also put your baby in a carrier while staying in costume on cold mornings which was a plus for our group.
