Fantastic pocket sized media player and radio. The sound from the 1 1/2" speaker is incredible, very loud and undistorted. The battery is rechargeable. The battery is installed in a plastic bag inside the radio. The bag must be removed for the radio to work. One of its unique features is that the device remembers what file it was playing, be it on a USB drive or TF flash card, when it is powered off or when the media is ejected and then reinserted, which is very helpful when You play story chapters. Memory cards must be formatted in FAT32. NTFS format will not load. LED indicator is easy to read in any light. TF card slot is spring-loaded and shoots the TF card through space when you not careful when removing it I found out (still looking for it). My only gripe is the volume control. In headphone mode the sound is basically muted until the L If the volume control is fully open, it gets too loud. The headphones I use have a built in volume control so this is not a problem. In speaker mode, the volume control works as expected. The unit comes with a special charge/auxiliary input combo cable that plugs into the radio's mini USB port. Charges with standard 5 volt USB charger or computer. The aux input allows you to play audio from another source through this cable. The instructions are written in plain Chinese-English and require imagination to interpret. It also has a built-in LED flashlight that doubles as a charge indicator. It comes with a small stand that attaches to the radio with a cord. This stand fits into a slot on the back allowing the radio to stand upright. Very happy with the device so far.
