Bought to replace the fridge door water dispenser. The light must be off, if you don't press the water dispenser, the light will turn on. Currently the way it works is that the light is on all the time - dim when not in use, then bright when water is poured. I contacted the seller; They said it's because that bulb takes a lot less power to run, so even though it should be off, the fridge is still providing some power. And enough to mute it. My only concern is will this shorten the overall lamp life? It seems yes. Which could wipe out my savings from buying an LED.
