I wear a size 7 1/2 outdoor shoes and I'm listening to everyone here who has advised to buy 2 1/2 sizes down . I bought a size 5 instead of the 5 1/2 I usually wear with flats (2 sizes smaller than street shoes) and I'm sorry for listening. I received the shoes a day before the trip and had to keep them. I love wearing flats on my flights and they were so tight I couldn't get my heel in and had to walk in heels at the back. It's been almost two months and they finally stretched to fit my entire foot. However, after a few months or weeks, my thumb will pierce the skin. So I like the shoes and I will buy another pair but I will buy a size 5 1/2. The only drawback is the elastic, which is sewn on too high on the leg. If you look at the photo of the model, the elastic is sewn close to the center seam. On my pair, the elastic is sewn in halfway between the center seam and the heel of the boot—a very awkward spot to sew the elastic on. The shoes are soft and nice and go on the narrow side which is great for me as I wear a B width but have a narrow B foot and they are perfect with no gaps on the side.
