This is our 13 years. an old Standard Ebony Poodle that we have purposely never encouraged to go in the water for fear that if she was alone in the backyard she might jump in the pool and not get out. Now that she's grown a bit her butt is loose, so I lure her into our little pool and hold her under her tummy so she can do some "water aerobics". This vest really helps! I've been careful to get the right size and there's no problem with that. The vest arrived on time or a little early. O. Easy to set up and put on. As you can see, in the water I can gently remove the handle and it can support her full weight of 48 pounds. The handle on top is fantastic as it allows me to 'guide' her a bit while she is learning to swim and also helps my wife and I get in and out of the pool safely and comfortably. Well this is a brand new product so I can't tell how long it will last, but for $20 how can you go wrong?
