We bought this based on positive reviews to replace 14 year old original controllers. After about 8 months of short-term use (probably an average of one hour a day, mostly twice at the weekend), the rubber on the left joystick came loose. After about 10 months the start button on the right side started working (inconsistently). For over 11 months the right trigger barely worked, there was clicking and creaking, the left stick was unresponsive and the start button started sticking. Overall, it performed well for the price, paired easily, and was responsive in game. I would have preferred it to have lasted at least twice as long, but at the time the other options seemed inferior in quality. If you can find a new factory original these days, jump on it no matter the price. It costs over $300 over the same period if you have to buy one of these every year for $26 each.
