We bought this based on positive reviews to replace 14 year old original controllers. After about 8 months of short-term use (probably an average of one hour a day, mostly twice at the weekend), the rubber on the left joystick came loose. The controller seems to work fine. The actual components used (buttons, analogs, etc.) also appear to be of decent quality.
