This Xbox 360 controller feels and weighs just like the real thing. Very easy to set up, took less than 10 seconds to connect to my Xbox. This is the second edition in our house as my brother also plays with me sometimes so I had to buy it. It can be either regular AA batteries or rechargeable AA batteries. I plan to buy batteries to save money in the long run. Is there a difference in performance from the original remote?: Maybe the vibration is a little different from the original, but I don't care. The most important things for me are sensitivity, accuracy and comfortable grip, all three of which are present in this controller. I've used them extensively over the last week and haven't found a single problem. But I think I should mention here that it won't work with a PC without a Bluetooth receiver or adapter. Therefore, be sure to read the description before purchasing. But overall I'm very happy with this controller and will update the review if I see performance changes.
