GDDR6X under control

I don't usually write reviews but I will forward this review to anyone who needs help. I haven't been happy with heavy mining, although it's within reach and certainly better than the 95C I've seen on air. My GPU also ran at 40C with a block. So I knew it was a contact issue or cheap pads. I bought the 1.5mm pads, the same ones that came with the block, and changed the setup with them. My memory temp is now around 66-68C. These pads work great when they match perfectly. I replaced the stock junk pads (which deteriorated over time) on my Rtx 3080 Aorus Xtreme because even at +0 memory clock the card reached a memory junction temperature of 110C, which is ridiculous! Double stack up to 2mm for memory chips because I wasn't sure what I needed so I got 1mm pads. After replacing all the pads on the card and adding some on the backplate, the card now runs on 72c-74c memory on a cold night and high 70s during the day…

Saved my cards

These pads saved my EVGA 1080ti SC2 cards and my Aorus 1080. Before I used these pads, both cards were experiencing artifact and shutdown issues. Now I can throw anything at these cards and they work like new. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stress test the Revain's New World loading screen, but I'm sure these cards would handle it. I have changed thermal pads on several graphics cards and sometimes I have problems after the process. . These problems are always due to new pads not compressing…
