I bought this unit thinking it would make a great gift and very useful as a phone charger. I was a lot less concerned about the flashlight. I also have a festival I'm going to this weekend and I thought it would be way better than a portable power supply because they run out of power while manual power is pretty much unlimited. Well my phone died last night and I thought great! Let's test this charger. I twirled and twirled and my phone said low battery but it never turned on. Every time I slowed down it showed a low battery screen with the charger to indicate it needed charging. I spun for 10 minutes, my arm got tired and I gave up. I definitely won't be giving them away and will most likely send them back.
