Review on 🔧 Enhance Precision with the Mophorn Lathe Bench Heavy Speed by Larry Blanco

The lathe arrived earlier than expected with no shipping issues despite not being shipped through Revain Prime. As someone with no lathe experience, I had no trouble setting up or adjusting the various parts of the lathe. The instructions are simple, but a little common sense will do the trick. I have a few extra centers and ammo that come with the unit are functional but fairly basic. They fit without any problems, you just had to order the correct size mandrel. So far, everything I've tried to shoot has worked pretty smoothly, and any problems I've encountered are due to lack of experience. The device is beautiful and heavy. and plenty of space to work. The only issue I've had so far has been that the tool fence is difficult to adjust when working with short parts as the part it attaches to the lathe is quite clunky and needs space to position it so as you wish. I'm very happy with the adjustable speed, the range is wide and it can move quite slowly (650 rpm is about 10 revolutions per second). I haven't had to adjust the belts for speed yet, but I've tried anyway and it's pretty easy. Overall, it did everything I needed (pretty basic stuff) and I didn't encounter any issues that couldn't be solved with adjustments. I've checked to see if it's possible to use mechanical cutting tools (for precise cuts) instead of hand tools, but it looks like it would require a completely different lathe, which is fine as I wasn't expecting it to be that way is working .
