My feet are weird - wider than average at the balls/toes, narrower than average at the heels. And apparently my medial and lateral ankles aren't in the "normal" place because of the little "cutout" digging into most loafers. That's why I always wear high sneakers. Typical women's shoes are too narrow/narrow and wide shoes tend to cost more. A few years ago, a saleswoman (because my feet are smaller) offered me to buy children's shoes. As far as sneakers, hiking and winter boots go, I've been doing it since the mid 80's. And for the past decade, getting kids' sneakers that don't glow has been a challenge. And as I get older, I appreciate the quick on and off that this particular shoe offers. So thank you for making a near perfect shoe for my odd feet.
