Recently after many years of use I had to replace my husband with a large garment bag that he uses on his commute to work. This is one of those too big to carry around and had big clips on each side to hold it together. (similar to this harness, only larger). The only zipper it had was on a flap that covered everything that was packaged. So because of the clips he never had to worry about it unzipping as the zipper opened at a very inopportune moment. However, when it came time to replace that giant garment bag, I couldn't find anything quite like it. They all seem to only have a zipper to close them after you fold them and with the way it's packed, usually via padding, I wasn't sure this new bag would last anywhere near as long would be like the ones he had (nearly 20 years). So I went in search of a luggage strap and this one does the job perfectly. It's more than big enough and very strong and sturdy. Also, the bright orange color I chose makes it easier to choose his bag from the many bags on the airport baggage carousel.
