Very easy to install but locking mechanism is very, very patchy. It basically rests on the back of the mount to rest on a very small ledge to hold the TV to the ceiling. I've pushed the TV into place several times and unless I checked and held it down it has fallen and could hit someone if the TV is lowered. I'm not worried about it falling completely off the ceiling because I was sure I would have hit hard material during installation. This is how the bracket is secured when the TV is not in use. Holding it alone resolves the slight wobble of the TV and mount, allowing the TV to swing down. I worry about the TV falling and hurting or hurting someone if someone jumps up and makes the floor shake. I can see what they were trying to achieve with the design and it's very easy to use, just doesn't offer a secure latch when pushed up. I will find something else.
