These thick gloves are guaranteed to keep your hands warm if you find the right size. Gloves that are too tight restrict blood flow. The pair I received was too big but I tried them anyway. My hands were sweaty during the thirty-minute bike ride to work in forty degrees. I got a pair of XLs instead of the large ones I wanted (not sure if I ordered wrong or if they sent the wrong size) and they were still a bit snug in the palm and too long in the fingers.
