Review on πŸ“š Multi-functional Stand Steady Podium - Ideal for Classrooms, Offices, and Home as a Lectern, Laptop Stand, and Mobile Workstation! by Chris Wagner

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great stand, large, medium sized (not too big and not too small). First, the tilt function

I saw someone ask a question about this and someone else suggested that it probably just wasn't built right. I doubt it. The stem tilt mechanism on mine is very difficult to use. It works correctly except for how difficult it is to retract and reinsert the pusher mechanism and the bar holding it at a certain angle. When it's in a horizontal position, I have to turn it upside down and push down on the bar with my foot (I'm not talking about height adjustment) to make it change position. I lubricated it, checked the mechanism, whatever. it's just not quite right. I asked a question about replacing this part. If make replies, great, if not I'll ask Revain to replace it. I assume this feature works well for most people, but obviously not all. [PS: I'm very mechanical. Nothing is obviously damaged or defective. It just doesn't work smoothly or easily. The benefit is that at any angle it doesn't move at that angle. Everything here feels very solid and it's a good design except for the tilt mechanism.] I'll give it a 5 if it gets fixed.

Pros
  • PORTABLE - Wheels on the rear legs make it easy to transport and take with you; while the front leg stops ensure your new stand is securely locked in place.
Cons
  • Too long to wait
