God. I have upgraded my computer countless times and upgraded my monitor 3 or more times (from CRT to small LCD to large LCD) etc. This 10+ year old scanner still works and works and works. If this scanner breaks, I can update it. lol. I've had this scanner since the late 90's or early 21st century (around 1999-2001 I think. I've moved to another city 4 times in my time.) The color is ok. Scanning at 600 DPI is fine. almost always plugged in and I'm surprised the lamp inside is NOT broken yet. rzunimag.
