    mostly the rollers clean but damn I've scanned over 600 negatives (3000 photos) and I like it I can usually stack 4-8 negatives at a time time and let it work. Clean and clean rollers

    Don't waste your money

    I was so excited to get this and digitize the negatives. If it had worked, it might have been worth it. Don't buy this and expect it to be fast. Slow as molasses. Scratch removal is pretty good. The software keeps throwing errors and crashes. You can have 45 minutes of batch scanning and it will choke on the last page. Disappointing as hell. Constantly trying to take more than one negative at a time. The quality when it actually works is very average. I am very frustrated and have spent so much

    The scanner is great!

    I've put off scanning my old negatives for years, so I'm excited to finally get started! It looks really good with high JPEG resolution, dust removal and multi-pass. And the multi-strip feed really works! The only issue I had was that I ran into some image alignment issues or missing photos when blending strips of just two or three photos with strips of four photos.     Great scanner for office electronics

    I bought a PowerFilm scanner to replace my old one which was hand scanning the negatives one by one, tedious to say. OMG, this was the best purchase I have ever made. It saved me so much time and effort it was worth having to scan 4000 negatives and this machine did them almost effortlessly and it costs less than sending them to a network of warehouses. , I almost say, because I still had to count and insert 10 strips, haha.     The first scanner I got didn't work at all so I had my doubts about this product especially as the initial review from Revain was so negative. I contacted the manufacturer and they replaced my scanner. A few days later I got a replacement and it works great. The quality of the scanned image is much better than my old Plustek and the ability to batch load negatives is tremendous. The naming software is a bit primitive.     My thoughts and observations - updated. The CyberView PF135 software that I downloaded from the website so I can scan the negatives is very easy to use and fairly basic in its capabilities, but it gives reasonably good results. One thing that really annoys me is that if there are more than 6 or less than 3 frames on a filmstrip, the program thinks there was an error loading/running the film through the devices and rejects the full scan. It would be nice not to recreate old film sets before…

    NOTES FROM AUGUST 2019: I scanned about 4000 images from 160 rolls of negative film (3-5 strips each). roll).     Best thing you can do for less than $5,000 and GREAT customer service

    I bought this because I have hundreds of rolls of film that I want to digitize. I was drawn to the idea of wrapping one roll at a time and getting high resolution scans. This product ultimately did that and more. Many of my negatives have not stood the test of time and the colors have faded.
